Graduate student midfielder Josh Brannan was a second-team All-MAC Commonwealth selection. The DeMatha product scored six goals in the season opener against Ursinus, netted four goals in two other games and totaled four other hat tricks. Thursday, Leydig was named the MAC Commonwealth Midfielder of the Year after totaling 53 points on the strength of 41 goals. He was selected as a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Scholar All-American last spring and is a two-time Academic All-MAC honoree. Leydig is a graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration and currently boasts a 4.0 grade point average. The Crofton resident was the lone men’s lacrosse player selected for the team of athletes from 11 spring sports.
